Sudbury Intergroup is an AA service office established to carry out certain functions common to all AA groups in Northeastern Ontario – functions best handled by a centralized office. It is maintained and supported by these groups. It exists to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers.

InterGroup Functions

  • maintain a central office with a postal address
  • maintain a telephone answering service
  • publish a meeting list
  • stock and sell medallions and AA conference approved literature
  • sponsor a special events such as the Sudbury Gratitude Dinner and the Annual Campout


Purchasing AA literature can begin at the group level. Most groups in the Sudbury area have a number of Pamphlets free for the taking and many books at the cost to the group. Groups and others can order from the Sudbury Intergroup office.
